How To Get Started.

• It doesn't matter where you live-- we've built hundreds of Web sites for satisfied people around the world using telephone and e-mail contact
• Gather photos of your work (and yourself, if you like). Digital format is best, photo prints are very acceptable. Ensure good contrast and sized no smaller than what you'll see on the enlarged view of the example artist's site
• If you're displaying artwork, write info about the piece, its dimensions, weight and the price (see example artist's site)
• Write your "artist's statement" and your curriculum vitae, if applicable
• If you want to accept credit cards online click on the PayPal link below and sign up for a merchant account. You pay 2.9% of the sale price and $0.35 per sale. No monthly fees. Note: you can't accept credit cards if you have PayPal's "Personal" account
• Whether you accept credit card payment online or not, develop a shipping policy. Your customers will want to know how you plan to ship to them. See PayPal's options if you go that route
